More than 16 years of commitment, competence, and expertise have turned ZhuZhou LianXin Metal Foundry Co. Ltd(UTA) into one of the leading manufacturers of cemented carbide rod material. UTA was founded in 1998 in ZhuZhou China – today an enterprise of 60 employees producing up to 100 tons of carbide rods annually.
To fulfill the growing demand of carbide rod material we extended the UTA carbide plant over several years. By the end of 2011 our second plant was completed and put into operation.
Today’s product range includes carbide rods without and with coolant holes (straight or helical twisted with 2 coolant holes), as well as cut to length material, preformed special parts and custom-made items. A comprehensive quality assurance system – certified to ISO 9001:2008 – ensures high-class standards of our products.
To meet the constantly rising demands from tool manufacturers we have concentrated our R&D activities on the development of new innovative cemented carbide grades. In particular hardness and toughness of our materials are adapted to the increasing complexity of cutting processes, e. g. highly heat-resisting steels, super-alloys and CFRP, as well as High Performance and High Speed Cutting.
We always strives to create products with high quality, high technology and high added value. As a medium-sized company with slender structure we react fast and flexible to our customer’s requirements.
